Talking about changing the world or the thinking patterns of the people they have followed for generations may sound unrealistic and impossible. But among us is a woman who is courageous enough to speak her truth and is helping motivate others to do the same. Randi B. is a truth talker, an adventurer, a community builder, and an activist for the black community. Randi B is a passionate woman who loves traveling worldwide, gaining exposure, and interacting with others. For Randi, the world is school, and the people in it are her teachers.
Life in a Diverse World
Life has been the biggest inspiration for Randi to be an activist and speaker. She grew up in a very mixed cultured family. From a very young age, her parents taught and provided her with the freedom to share her opinions and let her debate on many issues. Being the only black woman in her all-white school at the time makes Randi feel out of place. Both then and now, she had the self-assurance to be who she indeed was. Randi has devoted her life to assisting businesses in cultivating more inclusive workplaces and surroundings. She encourages individuals to not only express their ideas but also to embrace hearing the truth from others.
Communication Can Change Everything
Randi B believes everyone deserves a fair chance to be vocal about their thoughts. Randi B graduated from Tuskegee University and did her Ph.D. studies at the University of Virginia. Twenty-one years ago, she started her company, “Bryant Consulting Group,” which focuses on change management. She believes that most people are excellent but uninformed and are responsible for continuing to learn about this world and its people. Randi has done a great job by making discussions about diversity, equity, and inclusion. She wrote two books, speeches, and articles on the DEI topic. Her famous publication is “Neversays: 25 Phrases You Should Never Ever Say to Keep Your Job and Friend”. She runs a blog to advise people on navigating today’s diverse world. Randi B has also helped two companies go public.
Learn and Grow With Randi B
When it came to finding her enthusiasm for her exceptional expressiveness was a gift from God given to her at a young age. Randi B was offering courses on diversity, equity, and inclusion it was difficult for her to find companies willing to invest in DEI. Later, it gained traction due to the “me too” movement and George Floyd’s murder. She has created a trademarked process called “From the fingerprint to Blueprint.” With it—you take an organization’s fingerprint (learn everything about them) and then create a comprehensive plan to help them create a more diverse, equitable, inclusive space. Randi aspires to be one of the pioneers in this field and wants problems of inclusion, fairness, and equity to become common topics of discourse and ingrained in our psyche. She has been quoted in the New York times and Wall Street for her work. Randi B can be seen on Roland Martin’s show every other week. Additionally, Randi B. is creating an online DEI academy.
